By using Watchr you agree to these terms. Watchr is operated by Whatchr LLC (Sumter, South Carolina).
What Watchr is
Watchr shows community-reported prices for beer and wine and information about nearby stores. We do not sell alcohol, facilitate its purchase, or deliver it. Price information is provided by users and is not verified by us.
Eligibility
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21+ in the United States) to use the app. Please drink responsibly.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you submit. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit.
When you submit prices, reports, photos, or receipts, you grant Whatchr LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to store, reproduce, adapt, display, and share that content in connection with the service — and to include the pricing information it contains in aggregated, de-identified datasets, reports, and insights that we may publish, share, or license, including commercially.
This is how Watchr does the thing it exists to do: turn what the community sees on shelves into useful information about what drinks actually cost. Aggregated insights we share outside the app never include your name, your account, your email, your receipts, or your location history — they are about prices and markets, not about people. You confirm your submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit them. If you delete your account, your public contributions are anonymized rather than removed, so the community dataset other people rely on stays intact.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: submit false or misleading prices or reports; harass other users; attempt to manipulate rewards, XP, or leaderboards; scrape or bulk-extract data; interfere with the service; or use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Moderation
You can report objectionable content and block users in the app. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion.
Rewards
XP, badges, challenges, and leaderboard positions have no monetary value, are not redeemable, and may be adjusted or reset (including to correct fraud or errors).
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Prices are user-reported and may be wrong or out of date — always confirm at the store. Store locations come from OpenStreetMap and may be inaccurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchr and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.
