Support Watchr
Watchr is built in Sumter, South Carolina by one person. The prices come from
people standing in the aisle, and the app is free because that's what makes
the data worth having.
If it's saved you money and you'd like to chip in, you can. It's optional,
it's one-time, and it doesn't unlock anything — everyone gets
the same app either way.
What your money actually pays for
- Servers and storage — the store database, price history, and the shelf photos that teach Watchr to read price tags.
- The Apple Developer Program — $99/year, required to put an iPhone app in front of anyone.
- The domain and email — watchrprice.com and support@watchrprice.com.

The payment button isn't switched on yet. Honestly, the most valuable
thing you can do costs nothing: report prices. One price you
scan saves the next person a drive.
Prefer to support the app another way?
- Report prices. Genuinely the most useful thing. The whole app is other people's contributions.
- Fix the map. If a store closed or has the wrong name, report it in the app and it improves for everyone.
- Tell a neighbour. Watchr gets better the more people in a town use it — prices go stale with nobody watching.
