Common questions

A price is wrong. Long-press the price in the app and choose "Report Price." Prices come from the community, so bad data gets flagged and corrected by the people using it.

A store is closed, misnamed, or in the wrong place. Long-press the store, then "Report Store Problem." When two people flag a store as permanently closed, it disappears from the map for everyone.

The scanner read a product name wrong. Tap the name in the review screen and fix it before you upload — your correction teaches Watchr to recognize that product next time.

How do I delete my account? Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, receipts, and personal data. Prices you contributed stay in the community dataset but are anonymized.

Why do you need my location? To show which stores are near you, work out how far away they are, and figure out which store you're standing in when you report a price. We don't store a continuous history of where you go.

Is Watchr free? Yes. Scanning, searching, reporting, and price alerts are free and stay free.
